I have the pleasure of a creative partnership with a wonderful poet and artist named Becky. Almost every day she emails me new poems she has written, and I post them to a blog: http://www.northcountryimages.blogspot.com.Some poems inspire photos, and sometimes my photos inspire her poetry. This photograph was inspired by the following poem from March 25, 2007:

Confirmatory

Confirmatory,
the evidence is here,
a friend used the word,
and it is all dictionaried-up,
(no, that is not a word,
I just fabricated some letters,
and put them to no good use)
but, I digress.
It is official, confirmatory support
has been provided,
it is used, and written down,
yet, I laughed,
and made a joke.
We shouldn’t be surprised
some words make us laugh,
when so many words
have been found to make us cry.
