This was taken in a cemetery of unusually oversized stone markers not far from the Saratoga battlefield in the upper Hudson valley of New York. Most gravestones were leaning or tipped at odd angles to each other, probably the effect of time and weather exacerbated by their weight and height.
Welcome to my view of the world, sometimes seasoned with a strange sense of humor; sharpened by age. I hope you enjoy the things I see.

You tell an interesting story in this beautiful composition. The softness of the focus allows one's imagination to roam freely among the stones and the lives they represent ... very nice!

Very interesting perspective and composition to this image. I also like the limited DOF and texture of the old headstones.
