The Racquette River flows from the Adirondack mountains through Potsdam, NY, and eventually into the St. Lawrence river. Here, at high water and late in the evening, it rushes over one of two dams in the older downtown area.
Welcome to my view of the world, sometimes seasoned with a strange sense of humor; sharpened by age. I hope you enjoy the things I see.

You have composed an excellent almost abstract image here, Judy. The reflections are very interesting and the action of water hypnotic.

The undulation of the water looks mesmerizing and the color tones introduced by the reflections are lovely.

That is one FINE image, Judy. I love that warm, golden light and the texture in the water as it rushes over the dam. Great eye! Print it, frame it, hang it.
