Pulmonaria

Posted by Judy Andrus Toporcer (Colton, United States) on 24 May 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

This plant, commonly called lungwort, is believed by some to be effective in treating breathing and lung diseases. I've also read that some believe it to be a carcinogen, so drinking a tea made from it might do more than help your cold! In any case, it's a lovely spring flower that flourishes in shaded, damp locations.

Welcome to my view of the world, sometimes seasoned with a strange sense of humor; sharpened by age. I hope you enjoy the things I see.
